Terms of service

Terms for using the LamsaQR platform for business pages and QR menus in Qatar: subscriptions, content, payment and cancellation.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

LamsaQR is a platform operated by Lamsat Q R Information Technology W.L.L., registered in the State of Qatar under commercial registration no. 254114 and tax number 5009275041 ("we"). It lets businesses create a public bilingual page, a digital menu and QR codes, and offers related services (printed stands, photography, offer listings). By using lamsaqr.qa or the dashboard you agree to these terms. If you use the platform on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

2. Your account and page

  • You need a valid email address to create an account, and you are responsible for your password and for everything that happens under your account.
  • Usernames (the link lamsaqr.qa/@yourname) go to the first to register them and must not impersonate someone else's brand. We may reclaim usernames that infringe or stay unused.
  • The public page shows what you enter; you are responsible for the accuracy of prices, ingredients, allergens and opening hours.

3. Content you upload

You keep ownership of the text and images you upload. You grant us a limited licence to display, store and process them to run your page (including thumbnails and share images). Do not upload content you do not have rights to, content that breaks the laws of the State of Qatar, or abusive content. We may remove infringing content and suspend the account.

4. Subscriptions and billing

  • Every page starts with a 14-day free trial without a card. A plan must be chosen afterwards to keep the page published.
  • Plans are paid monthly or yearly in advance, in the local currency, through a licensed payment gateway. Prices on the pricing page include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • If a subscription lapses, your page shows a placeholder after a short grace period and returns the moment you renew. Your data is kept.
  • You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the dashboard at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal and your page stays live until the end of the paid period.
  • You can get a full refund of any subscription payment (new or renewal, monthly or yearly) if you ask within 14 days of the payment date, as set out in our refund policy. After that, payments for the current period are not refunded, except where the law requires otherwise.

5. Products and add-on services

  • Stands and stickers are made to order with your design; returns are accepted only for a manufacturing defect or damage in delivery reported within seven days of delivery.
  • Photography is booked by appointment; cancellations less than 24 hours before may be charged. The resulting photos belong to you, with our right to show samples with your consent.
  • Offer listings in the public directory are paid per offer and duration and are not refundable once published.

6. What we are not responsible for

The platform is a publishing tool; we are not a party to any order or booking made between you and your customers over WhatsApp, phone or delivery apps. We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or abuse the platform, with notice where possible.

8. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Questions: support@lamsaqr.qa. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the last change, and continued use after it means acceptance.
