QR code table stands: acrylic, wood or stickers?

A good code needs a good stand
An excellent QR menu on the guest's phone is wasted if the code is printed on a folded sheet under the salt shaker. The stand is the first thing a guest touches of your brand, so it deserves a minute of thought. Here are the three types we sell and use in Qatar, and what hundreds of tables taught us.
1. Clear acrylic stand (A6)
The most common choice in restaurants. A 3 mm acrylic sheet bent into an L that holds a printed A6 card you can swap in seconds.
- Pros: elegant on any table, easy to clean, and the card changes with your offers.
- Cons: scratches over time if wiped with a rough cloth.
- Best for: restaurants and cafés with many tables.
- Price: from 35 QAR per piece, printed.
2. Wooden block with an acrylic panel
A block of oak or walnut with a slot that holds a back-printed clear panel. Warm and premium.
- Pros: heavy so it never tips, looks right in coffee shops and salons.
- Cons: costs more, and the printed panel is not swapped as easily.
- Best for: counters, receptions, specialty coffee.
- Price: from 55 QAR.
3. Vinyl stickers
A round sticker, 10 or 15 cm, applied to glass, a table or a storefront.
- Pros: the cheapest, and takes no table space.
- Cons: wears with repeated cleaning and cannot be moved.
- Best for: glass doors, delivery counters, laundries, pharmacies.
- Price: from 45 QAR for five.
Print rules that guarantee a scan
- The code at least 6 cm wide with a white margin around it.
- High contrast: always a dark code on a light background.
- Your logo and "Scan to view the menu" in both languages under the code.
- Test on an iPhone and an Android phone before printing the batch.
One code per table or one for the whole place?
A code per table tells you which tables scan the most and later lets you tie an order to a table. Small restaurants do fine with one code per branch. In LamsaQR you create both from the dashboard and order the printed stands from the shop.
